The story of this photo is as tragic as it looks. We see a young Colombian trapped in the rubble of her house following the volcanic eruption of Nevado del Ruiz in 1985, near the town of Armero. Stuck by debris and mud, the reliefs fail to clear it in time. The 13-year-old girl dies before the eyes of the world. Photographer Frank Fournier will say "I wanted people to know who she was".
